Currently available for download as a 3MF for 3D printing. The largest part is 297 x 227.8 x 57mm; you'll need a printer with a print bed large enough for that dimension, like the Bambu H2D.

The "BigSarge207 - EufyMake E1 - Low Profile Exhaust Hood Kit" attaches to your E1 with a hood on the front and back of your printer. The hood only extends out from the printer 1" (25mm) keeping your view of the print bed unobstructed.

The kit includes props and overspray trays so you can UV print onto it, decorating it to suit your preferences. ABS is recommended if you plan to UV print onto the hood.

There are 4 options of duct adapters: X-Tool 3" Duct Adapter, 3" Slip-Fit Duct Adapter, 4" Slip-Fit Duct Adapter, & a 49mm Slip-Fit Duct Adapter. Custom adapters can be supplied by contacting me with details of you duct line.

The design drafts air from the front filter discharge as well from the top of the door openings when open. I have tested the unit using a X-Tool Safety Pro IF2 fan set on level 2 with 5 feet of duct with 2 bends before exhausting out a window. The hood has been designed in accordance with ANSI Z9.5 design guidance and tested to conform to ASHRAE 110 testing standard for chemical exhaust hoods. The download of the printable files includes a white paper with the details of the testing. Understand that a higher speed fan is not better. The right draw of air equating to 80 - 120 fpm face velocity is the goal. You can achieve this with the X-Tool IF2 but if you are interested in using another fan "Vane" testers are available on Amazon and will show you the flow level in your setup. If your fan is variable speed, you can use the vane tester to determine the best speed setting from proper flow. You can email me if you have question on overall system design. I happen to work in a chemistry lab and responsible for testing containment hoods and happy to share the knowledge with you.
